Alice Sebold

Alice Sebold is the author of the memoir Lucky, a haunting account of the author's rape at age 18, published by Scribner in 1999. The Lovely Bones is her first novel. She lives with her husband, the writer Glen David Gold, in Southern California.She has been chosen by the Village Voice as a Writer on the Verge and has written for the New York Times and the Chicago Tribune.
